Boot Camp
This is a HIGH intensity cardio class that incorporates the step, weights and cardio intervals. This class will challenge, tone and trim up your body by keeping the heart rate up and maximizing your cardio abilities. There will be a warm up and a cool down along with full body stretching.
Zumba
This is a fusion of group fitness moves and Latin/International dances which create a dynamic, exciting, EFFECTIVE and HIGH ENERGY class atmosphere that is so FUN, you just may forget your are working out! Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. So, stop spinning in circles, stepping on an imaginary stairway and running nowhere fast! Ditch the routine, JOIN THE PARTY! Get Zumba-fied.
The Ultimate Workout
Combines resistance training exercise while keeping your heart rate elevated to sweat off the pounds. Flexibility component included.
Toning
Get buff without even knowing it! This is a resistance class using free weights and the body bar. It is designed to burn as many calories as an aerobic workout while toning and firming all your muscles.
Circuit Training
This class alternates cardio activities with resistance training in every class. The format changes weekly to minimize boredom and maximize conditioning. Participants may run an obstacle course, participate in a boot camp, race through a series of stations and build muscle with kettle bells, resistance bands and weights. The only thing about this class that doesn’t change is the challenge.
P.U.M.P.E.D.
Physical Unique Muscular Powerful Endurance Definition…This class is a total body workout including core and abdominal work. It will incorporate all of the equipment the gym can offer!
Total Body Strength with Bands and Balls
A combination of the bands and exercise balls to give you a fun and effective way to lose inches. The bands will improve your strength and flexibility while the balls improve your balance. Let’s burn calories and shape our muscles!
Weight to Stretch
This class starts with weight training, focusing on muscle groups throughout the entire body, ends with a stretching relaxation session.
Buff & Tuff
A one hour total body weight training class targeting every muscle fiber! Utilizing benches, exercise balls, dumbbells, bars, kettlebells, and more! No rest allowed in this class! Class members describe this class as "weight-training-cardio." You've got to try it! THE ULTIMATE TOTAL BODY WORKOUT IN ONE HOUR!
Cycle
This class will take on a ride. We’ll climb up hills, race to the summit and jump through rugged terrain. You’ll face short and long intervals, sprints and grueling flats. Your hour on the bike will be over before you have a chance to be bored.
Cycle/Strength
This is truly a full body workout, great for Tri-athletes! Ironman Tri-athlete Kyle Amsdell’s Intense cycling class mixed in with chest and back exercises, plyometric s, shoulders and arms, legs and back, kenpo karate, core synergistic, chest shoulders and triceps, back and biceps.
Cycle and Core
We only got four minutes. Breakdown: Four minutes on the bike at medium intensity, followed by four minutes on the floor and repeat for one hour, no hesitating. Using plyometrics, body weight exercises and strength building moves, we’ll build muscle and burn fat. Are you ready to go?
Turbo Spinning
For those looking for a challenging spin class Turbo Spin is it. A perfect solution to burn calories and enjoy a heart pounding workout while toning your legs. Come and join the FUN!
Yoga
This class is designed to develop new student’s intuitive awareness, offering the opportunity to slowly strengthen the body and possibly healing previous injuries through the “Universal Principals of Alignment.” As a student you are supported and encouraged to “Start Where You Are” learning to work within the scope of your body’s individual blueprint.
Yoga for Bodies Abundant
All Goddess figures are welcome in this lunchtime, gentle-yet-effective Yoga experience where you just might find physical overflow melts away as stress is alleviated from the body-mind. Stress is accumulative, but so is relaxation—and this is the place to experience just that: a change in direction! Yoga and relax your way to toned and vibrant health—and perhaps you will discover abundance in your wallet then your waist. Truly amazing breathing techniques that tone and release toxins, strength building, stretching and relaxation are all on the menu—irresistible! Morning- Light Yoga
Rejuvenate after your busy week in Michelle Star’s “start-the-weekend-relaxed” Morning-Light Yoga. Instruction will vary from Yoga with weights to restorative to just awesome Yoga. This class is fun, energizing, relaxing and healing-all in this one hour. Beat the crowd with this eye-opener! Switch gears with a great workout to release accumulated stress and reconnect to wholeness. Class is suitable for non-experienced students. Come and see what’s on the menu today!
Twilight Yoga
Start every week right with the strengthening, stretch and balancing relaxation of Yoga with Michelle Star. You will unravel jangled nerves, soften tense muscles, connect with your soul self and sail effortlessly through the rest of the week. Suitable for experienced and non-experienced students-Yoga at your own level a great workout-and you will love the hint of the mystical in Monday’s Twilight yoga!
Yoga Strength
This class will engage you physically and mentally with safe and fun yoga postures and breathing exercises. Using a chair for support, you work at your own pace to build flexibility and endurance while you learn to relax and think more clearly. (Suitable for beginner level)
Anusara Inspired Powerful Yoga
Anusara Inspired Powerful Flow, is not for beginning students. It is an advanced practice of vigorous and dynamic flowing movement of yogic sequences based in “Principals of Alignment”, and body mechanics. Powerful flow heats the body and takes you to your performance edge, strengthening and challenging your body. It adds another dimension of cross training to perfectly balance your workout with any other competitive sport such as running, cycling, strength training. Yoga strengthens, stretches and lengthens the muscles preventing injury from constant overuse. The "Universal Principals of Alignment" teach body awareness, engaging muscle groups and using isometric muscular energy along with deep breath to provide you with skills necessary to deepen your focus and ability to do things you never thought possible. The end of each class offers a relaxation period to soften the energy of the mind, body and spirit from the inside out.
Pilates
This class will focus on the core muscles which help keep the body balanced. The core muscles (abdominals) are essential to providing support for the spine. In addition, the Pilate’s exercises teach awareness of breath and how to strengthen, stretch and isolate key muscles.
Baby Boomer Pilates
This is specifically designed for the adult over 50, this class provides all the abdominal and low back strengthening, flexibility and stress control benefits of Pilates while honoring the physical changes that the adulthood brings.
Turbo Kick
This is the ultimate cardiovascular challenge complete with a sport specific warm-up, bouts of intense intervals, easy to follow combinations, kickboxing specific strength/endurance training and a gentle cool-down.
